Marital Dilemmas

As I surf the internet, seeking mindful articles to read, all I find are posts regarding domestic violence,  infidelity and divorce. It's a shame how so many couples who once professed  the term "Till Death Do You Part", can't address each other in a civil tone in pubic or behind close. Now, if the couple has  kids (the bundle of joys)  have to wittiness their parent's stressful behavior. Perhaps, it's because they need of dose of this ...

 

Proverbs 18:22 (GW) - Whoever finds a wife finds something good and has obtained favor from the Lord.

 

The above bible verse goes for men too ...

 

Oh well, all I can do as a Pastor is pray for all those couples that are having marital dilemmas and continue to thank the Lord for my supportive GEM (hubby) and our 4 fun-loving sons. Because they know how much I love to pick up a book, snuggle up in my favorite nook and read till I'm almost finished with the book ... ‪#‎Hehehe‬,

 

Oh yes, my Dominican Danish (husband) prepared a tasty cup of coffee for me, so that it can accompany every turning of the pages, while our 4 Diamond sons do the rest of the laundry ... ‪#‎ThankYouJesus‬,

Healthy Advice

Afternoon Everyone:

 

Life is full of lessons and everyone you meet can turn into an instant teacher. Don't you know that they're all part of the learning experience that Jesus Christ has destined for you?

 

Acknowledging those lessons isn't easy, especially when things don't go your way; nonetheless if you take a few seconds to rewind the tape with call life, then you'll be able to appreciate life more. Such as, if your denied a particular job or a relationship doesn't work for some reason or other, it only means something better is out there waiting for you. Therefore, don't continue to waste your time arguing about stuff that only hardens heart and that's the 1st. lesson towards having peace of mind ...

 

Revelation 3:20 (NCV) - Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and eat with you, and you will eat with me.

Here's a thought, what does a person do when someone knocks on their door? They ask who it is, let them in and chat up a storm. That's what the Prince of Peace wants to do with you. Talk about what's going on in your life and offer some healthy advice ...

A Child's Innocence

On this lovely Wednesday morning, we're GRATEFUL because as we look out our windows and observe the manner in which the  children of our community: laugh, run and play with their friends before going to school, it brings a smile to our faces, on account of most of their parents have shared their testimonies with my GEM & me ...

 

They've been homeless, without enough food and even had numerous illnesses in the family, too ... Thank the Lord that these little babies continue to delight in their innocence and embrace this bible verse ... too, even if they don't know it ...

 

Proverbs 17:22 (ESV) - A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Good morning and blessings to each parent and their bundles of joy, too ...

 How should you conduct yourself when someone try's to persuade you into accepting their fraudulent teaching and preaching of God's word? If you don't know, then here's a bible based reply ...

2 John 1:10-11 (NLT) - If anyone comes to your meeting and does not teach the truth about Christ, don’t invite that person into your home or give any kind of encouragement. 11 Anyone who encourages such people becomes a partner in their evil work.

It's a shame, how so many people who are lost and miserable because they've rearranged the verses in the bible to satisfy their own misguided agenda ... That's why we always advise every member of the Body of Christ and those men, women and youth that are taking their first steps towards turning over their life's to Jesus, to set up a daily schedule for praying, studying the bible and visit a Church that preaches and teaches the full and unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ ... ‪#‎Amen‬,

While your in Church, listening to a message full of hope and restoration, don't forget to share what you've heard and learned with non believers and members of the Body of Christ that are struggling with some sort of temptation, too ...

Galatians 6:1(NCV) - Brothers and sisters, if someone in your group does something wrong, you who are spiritual should go to that person and gently help make him right again. But be careful, because you might be tempted to sin, too.

Furthermore, if you seriously want to help someone who's struggling with ungodly habits, then emphasize on this ...

Galatians 6:8(NLT) - Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.

Lastly, don't throw in the towel when it comes to sharing God's Good News with people that are reluctant to what your saying, on account of this ...

Galatians 6:9 (NLT) - So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

When you pray for others, it takes your mind off what's truly upsetting you. During your prayer session, God listens to you, consoles you and even motivates you to pray for someone that undergoing something more painful than you ...

 

Prayer also creates a safe haven for you, your love ones and even someone that misunderstood you, too ... Indeed, life is full of blessings; however we have to be patient and continue to pray! On that note, express Gratitude for all the good, confusing and funny things Jesus Christ introduced into your life ...

After delighting in my early bird prayer time, waking everyone up for school (college), preparing lunch for 4 our studious sons, followed by serving my hubby a warm and tasty cup of coffee ... The Advincola family immediately clutched each others hands, prayed for one and other, then the hug & kiss feast began ...

Now, I'm alone, sitting on our red comfy couch and studying God's word. Not to mention, this bible verse spoke to me in an awesome way and I hope it does the same for you, too ...

Ecclesiastes 2:26(NLT) - God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please him. But if a sinner becomes wealthy, God takes the wealth away and gives it to those who please him. This, too, is meaningless—like chasing the wind.

Did you know that worrying is a total waste of time and it wrinkles the mind(hypothetically specking) ... It if really think about it, nothing changes and all it does is fill your mind with tainted thoughts and steals your joy ...

This is why you can't have joy without peace, and there is no peace without Jesus Christ in your life ... We affirm the previous statement with this ...

John 16:33 (ESV) - I have said these things to you, that in me... you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.

Since your a creation of God, your blessed to a certain extent; but if your wish to embrace the complete gift that our Lord Jesus Christ has to offer, then expect Him as your personal Savor and then what you'll experience will leave you speechless ... Because when God transforms a person life, He does it from the world to see and comprehend that no one can ever love you more than Him ...

On this day, 26 years ago, my GEM & I exchanged our vows in front of God, the congregation, family, friends and the community, too ... This is one of the happiest milestones in our life's ... During these 26 blissful years, my hubby & I have totally enjoyed each others company in more ways than one ...

Thank you Heavenly Matchmaker for telling me in Church 27 1/2 ago to turn around because you had a long awaited gift for me ... I'm so glad I did, because NOW & ALWAYS I'm blessed with a loving husband, a positive roll model for our 4 Diamonds sons and the man that makes my hearts beat 100 mph every time I see him or hear his sweet, strong and Dominican voice ... #HaveMercy, Ladies & gentlemen, WAIT on the Lord and you'll see how BLESSED married life is ... #SweetJesusLove,

One more question, where would you be if the Lord didn't send someone to share the Gospel with your? Another reason why I dare to ask this question is because I hope and pray you feel this ...

 

Romans 1:16 (NKJV) - For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

My Favorite Book

I'm so grateful for the entire bible; however I'm also extremely taken by the book of Proverbs. Perhaps it's because it's focal point is mainly on promoting discipline and successful living ...

The book of Proverbs is full of insight that's spoken in a riddle like form and if you take the time to carefully ponder through each verse, you'll perceive the essence of what the Lord truly wants to say. That's why Proverbs is my favorite book in the bible ...

Proverbs 18:15 (ESV) - An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.

On Call, Full-Time

I'm not ashamed to smile or say that I'm a full-time wife, mother and Pastor too ... That's why I thank the Lord for the ability to be a multi tasker in our home. For the reason being, that yes I've been called to the Pastoral ministry with my husband; however I can't abandon my responsibilities at home ...

1 Timothy 3:5 ~  If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?

For some people, what I've stated may sound a little frivolous; but I feel so gleeful whenever I'm involved in my Hubby's and our 4 Diamond sons activities. No, I'm not a super athletic nor do I embrace a great deal of computer savvy like my husband or other proficient computer geeks when it comes to building a computer from scratch. All I know is that God has instilled in me a Cheerleader Spirit so that wherever my family goes, they'll  know that I'm praying for them so that our Heavenly Father escutcheons from evil minded individuals that don't appreciate their desire to rejoice in everything they do ...

 

By the grace of God, I'm proud to say the following - I'm wife, mom and Pastor too 24/7 for the rest of my life; because this is how I feel ...  

 

Matthew 6:21  (NKJV) - For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
